Gear Collection & Give Away

In collaboration with AZWCC, CIimbing in Color, The Bloc, Rock Solid and Rocks & Ropes gyms, we are hosting temporary gear collection sites in Tucson.

What is a gear collection site? A place to bring new and gently used gear that is collected and given away to fellow climbers. Please clean your gear before you drop it off. There will also be disinfectant spray near each collection box.

How can you contribute? You can donate your used and new climbing shoes, chalk bags, camping equipment, clothes, tape and safe hardware. Please no harnesses, rope or helmets. 

Where can I donate? Visit any one of the three rock gyms in Tucson; Rock Solid, Rocks & Ropes or the Bloc and look for our donation box and poster. We are collecting gear for the next two months (August & September 2023)

What will happen to the gear? Once all the gear is collected, Climbing in Color and AZWCC will be hosting gear give aways at their monthly meet ups throughout the month of November. You can attend in November to look over all the available gear and take what you need.
